"Just as the previous product by this company which we reviewed it was so enjoyable to once again see the creative design of such an incredible educational/creative play product. In this evaluation I would like to make a point of two very strong features of this product.
The first of these is the perceptual development created from this product. The reflective sheets which create the mirror effect from the image sheets, provide a perfect medium for understanding visual perspective. Each paper sheet of the kit is what appears to be a distorted/warped image. The challenge for kids is that they have to associate the image they are seeing in the reflection with the same specific area of the image on the paper sheet which they desire to color in. This provides a generous level of stimulation to visual perception, spatial/depth judgment, and coordination, essential elements associated with fine motor skill development.
The second feature which adds even greater value to the impact upon a child using this product is that there is far more than just coloring a mirrored image. Some of the distorted image sheets deliver the added challenge to a child to connect the morphed dots, make their way through a morphed maze, etc.
Considering my previous evaluation of the first version of this product, I skimmed over it and feel that some of the information there should be included here as well. Processing sensations, emotions, visual perception of images, developing judgment of actions to take, creative skill, these are such a small example of the entire collection of benefits for a child that this product provides.
I think the greatest feature of this product is that it can evolve with the child as they grow older and develop further.
