These knock-offs often times are lacking in the same level of workmanship as the more higher quality products, yet consumers generally don't even begin to realize the difference until after the damage is done. We are so enamored by the outstanding combination of style, color, and functionality with this recreational eyewear. As you are already aware of, many of the eyewear products you have submitted this year have failed our portion of your evaluation. This product however shows the company has taken the importance of zero-tolerance for distortion into account in their design and produced a champion level product which in our book grabs the brass ring.

This recreational eyewear is of supreme quality which just as one of your first products submitted to us, rivals prescribed frames and lenses. The design was clearly well researched so that there is no visual distortion caused by the lenses. The UV protection was a strong concern from the start yet this product has a UV level of protection much higher than many others we have tested. This is a crucial point of reference in my report; parents need to understand that children cannot just go out in the sun and play for hours any longer. The UV rays have become far more damaging than ever before and pose a significant risk of progressive blindness and other visual disorders.

As part of our evaluation process we allowed 25 different children to participate in our study with this product. The children were exposed to a number of various artificial light sources as well as direct sunlight while engaged in a variety of activities. Following every activity period, each child had their eyes examined, images captured of their inner eye, and comparisons made of each of the groups of images recorded. Upon completion of our study/evaluation we are pleased to repeat what I stated earlier in the report, we were completely enamored with such a fine recreational product such as this one. "Baby Banz is a product which after my evaluation has proven it is a product I can recommend to the parents of my patients. Although I am not a specialist in optometry, I do however have a thorough understanding of visual concerns for kids and parents. One of the very first things which I made mental note of, was not just the simple yet sturdy plastic frame of the sunglasses, but the strap which is attached. The neoprene strap is far from 'standard quality' in its composition. It is a much higher grade of neoprene than I generally see with children's non-prescription sunglasses, as well as thicker and more suitable for use.

The most compelling facts to cause me to be so impressed with Baby Banz was my own daughter's use of them. I was so chuffed, (or as you Americans say 'delighted'), to have my daughter try them on. We took her to the beach to play and see how she liked wearing the sunglasses for a long period. The neoprene and Velcro fasteners made it so simple to put the Baby Banz on her in such a manner that they fit well and with no discomfort.

We were at the beach for an hour, more or less, with our daughter playing in the sand without delay. When it was time to depart, we tried to remove the Baby Banz from our daughter's head. She had a royal fit with our trying to remove the sunglasses from her. We were unable to get any cooperation in removing them until after she fell asleep during our drive to our flat.

After we were back to our flat and all was attended to, I examined our daughter's eyes to determine if there appeared to be any sign of strain or other distress with the eyes from the use of the Baby Banz. Consumer Hands-On Product Evaluation Feedback

Consumer feedback is like precious gold...literally invaluable. Honest feedback from hands-on evaluation of products we bring to a location or locations, assists us in seeing virtually all sides of the picture when it comes to product evaluation.

For Baby Banz we performed consumer hands-on evaluation in a public mall along with several other products. Having several products available for consumer evaluation all at once, it allows us to also get feedback from the consumers in regard to which 10 products they liked best in addition to their initial evaluation. Baby Banz Provided A Challenge

When we brought all of the products we never even once considered the possibilities of any challenges to handle any of the products we brought. Baby Banz created a challenge due to the fact it is not a product a toddler plays with but rather one a toddler will wear! The second part of the challenge was keeping our eyes on the Baby Banz...we had three attempts by consumers to pocket the Baby Banz and run away!

After a bit of thinking and suggestions from some of the mothers, we finally devised a way to handle the evaluation process without a flaw. The fact of people trying to steal the Baby Banz tells you that they were quite popular, however, that is nothing in comparison to the info on our feedback forms and the abundant number of positive comments from all of the parents who were participating in our evaluation program.
